Applications for MicroStation 3D-CAD |
|
ProPack is a package of software modules specially designed for three
dimensional modelling, including calculation of ore reserves, planning of underground
mining, engineering, and geology. The application communicates directly with dBase
database tables. Project management and database editing utilities are included in the
package. All modules are developed in MicroStation Development Language (MDL), which makes it easy for MicroStation users to learn the new applications with a minimum of training effort. This allows the user to obtain maximum productivity in a short time. 3D-CAD technology permits incorporation of significantly more information from different earth science disciplines into a true 3D geological model. This enables geoscientists in engineering and mining industries to work in three dimensions with large data sets, which were previously not possible to handle manually. All graphic data in the design file are linked to a database. This enables analysis of different data sets and selection of objects by specifying SQL search criteria. Detailed information about an object can be requested interactively. It is also possible to modify information from within the program. The parts that ProPack consist of are:
