| Microstation is the "graphical engine" and serves as a platform for several of the software modules included in ProPack. Microstation is a full-featured product for computer-aided drafting, design and visualisation in 3D. The user interface is based on Office 97 standards. Microstation’s graphical options includes features such as photorealistic rendering, animation and real-time shading. Non-graphic data can be associated with graphic objects in the design. The non-graphic data can be stored in various databases or connected via the ODBC. It is also possible to store the non-graphic data in the design "tagged" to the graphic object. Microstation includes a web browser which allows collection, sharing and exporting of data via the Internet. Several standard CAD and Internet formats are included in an export/import facility. |
