Triangles is a program for interactive modeling and presentation of rock masses in 3D space. The wide range of functionality allows modeling of irregular volumes by triangulation between interpreted levels or profiles and creation of narrow fault zones with no volume. The triangulation can be made automatically or constrained using guidelines. Triangulated volumes can be adapted to each other so that no voids or intersections are created. Cross-sections can be generated with free orientation in space.
OreVal is a program for evaluation of mining positions. The ore body geometry is defined by triangulation or by interpreted profiles. All drill hole intersections with the ore body are calculated and from this information mean grades, density, ore values and tonnage are retrieved. OreVal uses the same drill hole database as GeoCad.
BlockCad/Val is a program for creation, visualisation and evaluation of block models. The triangulated ore positions are transformed to block models, these models can be stored in any database supported by ODBC. Drill hole information from the GeoCad drill hole database is composited and used for grade interpolations. Mining positions can be evaluated using different calculation methods, by mining levels or by triangulated mining rooms.
